I’m here to tell you a little bit about myself,  not because this experience is about me, but because I want you to know who you’re trusting with your precious little one.


I’ve been a newborn photographer for over 15 years and created Silhouette Photography in 2012. Over the years, I’ve had the absolute privilege of photographing hundreds of beautiful families, welcoming tiny new babies into my studio and watching so many of them grow. It’s something I never take for granted.

Since becoming a mom myself (I have three boys at home, it's sheer chaos), I feel even more connected to the families I photograph. I understand just how quickly those newborn days pass, how precious those tiny details are, and how important it is to preserve those little moments for you to look back on forever.

My approach is very relaxed, gentle and baby-led. There’s no rushing and no pressure to make your baby do anything they don’t want to.




My home studio is a cosy (yet practical), small, calm space where you can settle in, have a cuppa, take a breath and simply enjoy your baby while I capture all those beautiful little details. Their tiny toes, sleepy cuddles, little stretches and all the things you’ll wish you could bottle up and keep forever.Your baby’s safety and comfort will always come first. I have extensive training and experience in newborn photography, and I'm trained in first aid and CPR for both you and baby. After more than 15 years of working with newborns, I’m confident in handling and soothing even the tiniest of babies, while always working at their pace.

More than anything, I want you to feel looked after too. Becoming a parent is a huge, overwhelming and incredibly special time, and I want your session to feel like a little pause from the outside world. Somewhere warm, calm and completely centred around you and your baby.

I feel incredibly lucky to do what I do. Being invited into those first precious weeks of your baby’s life and creating photographs that will become part of your family’s story for generations is something I’ll never stop being grateful for.
